VP of Engineering (Software Development) - Closed

Our exciting early stage client, is looking for an experienced   Director of Engineering to lead and mentor multiple managers in the development, production and scaling of a large scale consumer facing SaaS application, destined to disrupt the entire Security world.

Your Role: • Communicate and delegate responsibilities to ensure everybody understands where we’re going next and why. • Protect creativity by empowering team members with good ideas, and step in when necessary to help align visions. • Mentor and develop deeply motivated and diverse teams

Preferred Background: •

Engineering, Math or CS Degree

7+ years of experience in a Director role, managing other managers

At least one successful stint in the start up world, with the battle scars, war stories and smile to show for it

Experience engineering enterprise products

Experience working with product managers and design teams is a plus •

Strong leadership with ability to hire, retain, organize, motivate, and drive a talented team

Experience within the threat detection and prevention product world a strong plus.
